ZoomInfo Revs Up Enterprise Solution Sales
Jan 27, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
ZoomInfo reported that sales of the company's recently launched ZoomInfo Enterprise Solutions have soared, boosting the company's overall sales to enterprises by more than 250 percent year-over-year.
The Company said that it credited the increase to enterprise sales and marketing teams that have been frustrated by the inefficiencies of stale and incomplete contact data and found that solutions from ZoomInfo accelerate sales productivity and marketing response rates with B2B data that's updated 24/7.
"Outdated business data slows business operations - marketing, sales, data management and others - to a crawl. We're seeing more and more deals where multiple departments within organizations evaluate and purchase our services," said Sam Zales, president, ZoomInfo. "Our sales growth confirms what our customers are telling us: inaccurate data is costly and ZoomInfo can provide continually replenished B2B information that includes hard-to-find mid-managers and SMBs."
ZoomInfo noted that Unica, an IBM Company, recently purchased the Company's Enterprise Solutions after finding that other B2B information services were slowing its sales prospecting and marketing campaigns. Unica manager Adelle Bonavire said, "We were spending considerable time on getting to the right level of person and we needed much more accurate data. Now, with ZoomInfo, we have more ways to sort, a wider scope of prospects and very accurate contact information."
ZoomInfo's customers include brands such as Amazon, E*Trade, Microsoft, Time Warner, Wal-Mart, WatchGuard Technologies, Yahoo! and the world's top staffing and executive search services.
ZoomInfo Enterprise Solutions leverage the ZoomInfo Database of continuously updated information on five million businesses and 50 million employees. The Company reported that it is the only vendor in the market to offer data from these three sources: ZoomInfo's proprietary Web crawler, which constantly scours millions of company, financial and news sites to uncover new information every day; community-contributed contacts; and individuals who verify and update their own profiles.
Among the service options ZoomInfo said that its enterprise clients are choosing:
-ZoomInfo Pro - the company's flagship software-as-a-service (SaaS) application -- which includes search tools, allowing sales teams to target prospects by more than 20 criteria, as well as email alerts that provide a real-time view of business contact changes.
-Highly segmented contact lists that B2B direct marketers can import into their email and related campaign systems.
-Data append services for marketing teams that update and enhance incomplete contact records (ZoomInfo will add current email addresses, phone numbers and other data to existing lists).
-Data integration with customer relationship management (CRM) and sales force automation (SFA) tools, giving access to the ZoomInfo Database to the client's entire organization.
ZoomInfo's data includes contact information that goes far beyond business card basics to include background, news stories and Web information about the companies and businesspeople profiled, the Company said. Every day, ZoomInfo adds 2,000 new businesses and 25,000 new employees to the database and it updates 15,000 business and 250,000 employee records daily.
ZoomInfo is a provider of continuously updated information about businesses and employees.
