AdvanTel Networks, a technology solutions provider, has acquired Prime Business Systems, an Avaya (News - Alert) Business Partner based in San Diego, California.

 

Prime Business Systems was found in 1997 by Mark Ritchie and has been providing telecommunications and data infrastructure solutions across the United States with key relationships in Southern California and with the Federal Government.

 

Ritchie will manage the AdvanTel Networks' Southern California operations and will lead a group of professionals to leverage the reputation and strength of AdvanTel Networks as a premier technology provider.

 

This acquisition, Ritchie said, allows them to strengthen their customer relationships in the region and increase their technical delivery capabilities.

 

AdvanTel Networks is expanding with many offices and staff across the country and the company is working closely with Avaya and Juniper Networks (News - Alert) on this acquisition for its go-to-market strategy across the United States as well as globally.

 

Dan Ferguson, Vice President at AdvanTel Networks said that the company increasing its customer base and solidifying its position as a leader in providing converged voice and data networks. Ferguson also said that their customers will see an immediate benefit in wider geographical coverage, enhanced capabilities and greater access to resources within both Avaya and Juniper Networks.
