AVAYA News - Avaya One Source Makes Access to its Communications Portfolio Simple

Avaya (News - Alert) has made it easier for its customers and channel partners to access its global communications portfolio, thanks to Avaya One Source (News - Alert). This initiative is designed to provide simplified access to its UC, contact center, networking and SME solutions, helping customers and partners access them quickly, affordably and easily.
With Avaya One Source, the quoting and ordering of all Avaya solutions is enhanced, thanks to efficient pricing, processing and tools. It offers new automation capabilities, as well as access to standardized pricing in real-time and a centralized web-based system, helping reduce order cycle times.
Included in the Avaya One Source are features such as a One Source “Landing Page” that provides access to catalogs and pricing files, as well as quote tools and special pricing requests. There’s also its integrated quoting and ordering system, which unifies all solution pricing in a single location; partners can also share quotes with distributors online, helping make decisions and orders more quickly. Even the pricing and discounts have been simplified, helping ensure consistency and clarity everywhere.
Not only that, but Avaya announced three new Avaya Aura suites of UC, mobility and collaboration applications. These provide more options to customers, so that they can get just the right blend of UC capabilities for their work. This includes: Foundation, which provides scalable enterprise-wide architecture for communications; Mobility, which adds capabilities for the worker on-the-go, including single number access, BYOD features, and remote access; and Collaboration, which combines the above with power collaboration capabilities such as video and conferencing.

Avaya has a great range of solutions available from its portfolio, and by making it easier for customers and partners to access them, they can better find what they need and purchase it quickly. The simpler it is to buy them, the more they’ll sell, so if purchasing from Avaya is as easy as shopping for anything else online, then that’s all the better for the company, as well as its partners and customers alike.
