AVAYA News - Avaya Reaches New Goal in Small and Mid-Size Markets with Over 300,000 IP Office Sales
By Monica Gleberman, Contributing Writer
The Avaya IP Office recently celebrated a significant milestone, surpassing over 300,000 IP Office Sales within the small and medium-sized business (SMB) market. The company has continued to see growth since its debut, doubling revenue sales these past two years and hitting sales of 10 million lines of IP Office.
Although the New Jersey-based company is still considered relatively new, it has established itself as a leader in business communications by providing solutions directly and through its channel partners to help companies around the world. Since it’s beginning in 2000, it has developed and implemented communications systems for contact centers, networking hardware, unified communications and video products and services.
Avaya (News - Alert) just continues to dominate the market and see growth in sales, revenue, and leads. “This has been a banner year for IP Office, and the customer response to our latest version has been immense,” said Mark Monday, vice president, Product Management Collaboration Platforms and Endpoints, Avaya, in a statement.
Like Monday said, IP Office is one of Avaya’s most popular solutions. It allows companies to increase the productivity of their mobile workforce to expand their footprint while eliminating overhead costs. It will increase the amount of telephones available in a single location from five employees up to as many as 1,000. It also allows for easy collaboration with employees through various office departments and mobile agents. Avaya currently has over 250,000 systems installed worldwide.
The latest version, which was introduced back in July, incorporated a slew of new features including a new centralized management solution, improved security, and an easier way to scale up business with the increase of users per site to help companies mange more effectively.
“Through unique mobility apps and scalability improvements, IP Office users are finding real value in a solution that brings big business capabilities to SMEs of all kinds. We’re working to bring more Avaya IP Office innovations to market, and expand what is possible in SME communications,” Monday added.
