AVAYA News - Avaya Named Global Leader in Mobile Unified Communications and Collaboration

Avaya (News - Alert) has pulled ahead of the competition, and has recently been highlighted as a global leader in mobile unified communications and collaboration by IDC MarketScape. This accomplishment follows its success in Gartner’s (News - Alert) Magic Quadrant, adding yet another mark of success to Avaya’s reputation.
The IDC MarketScape report examines the worldwide market, looking at key players and their capabilities as well as their strategies for helping customers and growing the market share. In these regards, Avaya was placed ahead of all its competitors, securing its place in the spotlight.
There are a number of criteria used to score the vendors, such as flexibility and scalability, integration and multivendor support, and the robust offerings available, among others. It also anticipates the companies’ growth in mobile UC and collaboration, looking at trends and technology to predict which ones will excel.
With Avaya’s wide range of solutions for unified communications and collaboration offerings, it comes as no surprise that it ranked as well as it did. With the Avaya Aura Collaboration suite, Avaya Flare Experience, and Avaya one-X Mobility products, there are plenty of excellent solutions and tools to choose from, securing Avaya’s ranking as a global leader.

Avaya’s victory is well-earned, and one it will fight to maintain. Its competitors will have a tough road ahead to catch up, but until then, congratulations to Avaya.
