Customers of LifeSize and Avaya (News - Alert) alike can breathe a sigh of relief, as the LifeSize 220 endpoints, as well as other LifeSize products, are now compatible with Avaya Aura infrastructure.

Along with the LifeSize (News - Alert) 220 endpoint products, the LifeSize Passport, LifeSize Passport Connect and LifeSize Bridge are compliant with Avaya’s IP telephony solutions. They’ve been tested by Avaya for compliance with Avaya Aura Session Manager 6.1 and Avaya Aura Communication Manager 6.9.1, as well as Avaya one-X Communicator 6.1.3.

All were found to be fully compatible, helping businesses collaborate with HD video conferencing through Avaya Aura and LifeSize.

As a technology partner in the Avaya DevConnect (News - Alert) Program, LifeSize is eligible to submit products for compliance testing. A comprehensive set of tests was performed for each application, and compatibility was confirmed. As such, businesses can add LifeSize and Avaya applications to each other without having to worry about replacing their current infrastructure or any compatibility issues, ensuring the swift deployment of new applications.
