AVAYA News - Conveyant Systems' Sentry E911 Solutions Is Now ''Avaya Compliant'

The Sentry E 9-1-1 Emergency Location Management Solutions by Conveyant (News - Alert) Systems is now compliant with key Emergency Service solutions from Avaya. For the uninitiated, Avaya (News - Alert) is a reputable provider of business collaboration systems, software and services and delivers cohesive communications, contact centers, networking and related services to businesses around the world.

Conveyant’s Sentry E9-1-1 Solutions has been designed to assist organizations and businesses in case of emergency, by delivering VoIP location discovery and on-site alerts, when a 911 call is made. The Sentry E9-1-1 Solutions was recently compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Communication Server 1000 Emergency Service Release 7.5 and this is a significant step.

Conveyant Systems is a Technology Partner in the Avaya DevConnect (News - Alert) program, which has been established to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and increase the value of an enterprise's stock in its network.

Since Conveyant Systems is a recognized Technology Partner, it can propose products for compliance testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab. Once it has submitted the product, a panel of Avaya engineers then begin to develop a wide-ranging test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compatible. This is crucial for companies, since it helps in adding best-in-class capabilities to their network, without them replacing their existing infrastructure. It also helps businesses to speed the process of deployment of new applications and decrease network complexity and implementation costs.
