AVAYA News - Jenne Keeps Resellers up to Speed on Avaya IP Office
By Steve Anderson, Contributing TMCnet Writer
Certifications are, not surprisingly, important in terms of IT in business. Having a certification is a visible badge of training and skill in the area in question. And for some resellers, Jenne is about to make it just a bit easier to hold their certifications in one area, the Avaya (News - Alert) IP Office platform.
Jenne is offering a variety of programs, including their new Fast Track training course and authorized on-site testing exams, to help businesses retain certification in Avaya IP Office. They call it Jenne University, and it's a partnership venture with Pearson VUE, which specializes in Avaya testing. The courses last five days, and on the last day, the tests are administered, allowing businesses looking to stay certified in Avaya IP Office to do so at a rapid clip and with minimal disruption to the business itself.
And, for those resellers that already went through the five day course, but their certification is in need of renewal, they can take an abbreviated course called the Fast Track course, that lasts only two days and gives the tests on the last day. Better still, Jenne University can also offer training in not only Avaya IP Office, but also on an array of other Avaya products like Aura and Communication Manager.
For those who find themselves skeptical of Jenne University's ability to provide the necessary content in a sufficiently rapid fashion, there's a note of encouragement for you on that front. Not only does Jenne University use instructors certified by Avaya itself, but also, Avaya recently awarded them their first ever Learning Partner Award, which underscores the trust that Avaya wants it publicly known they have in Jenne University. And Jenne currently partners with over 150 different manufacturers in a variety of areas, including business telephony and several conferencing fields.
If you want to get your Avaya certification renewed, Jenne University might just be the place for you to start looking for a fast and comparatively simple way to get the job done.
