AVAYA News - Quest Unveils Single Tool to Monitor and Manage Network and VoIP Systems

Quest Software Inc., owner of the Foglight Network Management System (NMS), announced its software now supports Avaya (News - Alert) VoIP systems. The additional support will give network engineers and administrators an unparalleled visibility of their networks and help them monitor real-time performance and quality metrics.

Extra support also means network engineers are better equipped at addressing network delays, call dropping and poor voice quality over VoIP. According to a tweet from the official Quest Software (News - Alert) Inc. account (@Quest), “Quest Foglight NMS offers market’s only complete network monitoring tool for #Avaya #VoIP System.”

This new support is a huge incentive by markets to adopt the Foglight NMS, considering there is an increase in value of VoIP solutions by organizations growing organically through acquisitions and mergers.

This is essential if organizations are to keep their growing workforces connected and working together. One major obstacle to implementing problem-free VoIP infrastructures is lack of adequate visibility of how VoIP and network systems work together. Creating the most efficient voice environment with the existing point tools and enhancing user satisfaction becomes a constant challenge, hence the need for Foglight NMS with VoIP.
