By Anamika Singh, TMCnet Contributor
Streamcore, the provider of WAN 2.0 assurance solutions for reliable delivery of business-critical Unified Communications (News - Alert) & Collaboration (UCC) over any cloud, announced that its StreamGroomer products are compliant with unified communications (UC) products from Avaya (News - Alert), a provider of business collaboration systems, software and services.
StreamGroomers regulate the traffic exchanged between LAN and WAN networks. Traffic is monitored and controlled according to network, application, VoIP and video rules specified by the administrator. Each appliance is seamlessly integrated in series between the LAN and the router and has an automatic bypass feature to ensure that it remains transparent in the rare event of a malfunction. StreamGroomers are administered by a dedicated port.
Streamcore solutions offer enterprises with monitoring, supervision, reporting and performance control for real-time communications such as VoIP and room-based or desktop videoconferencing. The products can improve network performance and allow UC implementations. StreamGroomers is compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya Aura Communication Manager R6.0.1 and Avaya Aura Session Manager R6.1, 96xx SIP Deskphones, Avaya Desktop Video Device and Avaya one-X Communicator.
“We are pleased to announce Streamcore’s compliance with Avaya Unified Communications products,” stated Frederic Hediard, vice president of product strategy. “Together, Streamcore and Avaya products can help ensure high quality real-time communication and collaboration applications for end-users that deliver value to the bottom line.”
DevConnect's developer resources, technical support and marketing programs help members create the new generation of intelligent communications solutions.
“Streamcore’s DevConnect compliance testing enables customers to add Streamcore’s best-in-class network performance to enhance capabilities to their existing Avaya infrastructure with confidence,” stated Eric Rossman (News - Alert), vice president, developer relations, Avaya.
“Streamcore products, when used in conjunction with Avaya systems, can speed the deployment of new UC applications such as desktop video while reducing network complexity and implementation costs,” Rossman adds.
